School Beatification: Thank you to all the students and parents that came out on Saturday to help with school beautification. Everyone worked REALLY hard and the place looks great!! The Greenhouse Club is going to spread the rest of the mulch in time for the Early College Fair on October 12!

WTCC Statement of Understanding (for Juniors): During READY on 9/20 all students taking WTCC classes received a WTCC Statement of Understanding document that outlines WTCC course guidelines (yellow form).  Please sign and return to the main office. Please contact your student’s counselor if you have any questions.

PSAT (for Freshmen and Juniors): All 9th and 11th graders will take the PSAT (for free) on Wednesday, October 16. Freshmen received this letter today during Ready. Juniors received this letter. Please discuss with your student prior to the test. 

PreACT (for Sophomores): All sophomores will take the PreACT on Tuesday, October 29. Students received this letter during Ready today. Please review it with your them prior to the test. 

Financial Aid: FAFSA applications can be started on October 1, 2019.  To make an appointment with our Financial Aid Counselor, Sabrina Waters (Thursdays), they can go to https://appoint.ly/t/swaters ​or for questions, e-mail at swaters@wcpss.net.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month:   Our mission is to create a bully free environment where all students are safe.  Throughout the month of October the VMCCA Student Services Department will host several activities to promote awareness and prevent bullying at our school.  

September 30: Teacher Workday. No school.

October 3: Make-up weather day. Students should report to school.

October 4: Fall Break. No school.
