We hope you’ve had a restful weekend so far and invite you to end your weekend by reading our newest edition of TheBrooksWorm. This month we’re featuring our literary non-fiction collection and kicking off our first Great Wildcat Reading Challenge for the school year!

The Great Wildcat Reading Challenge

The Great Wildcat Reading Challenge has begun! Our Media Center would like to invite students to join Millbrook staff in completing the challenge of reading ten different books that meet a few preset criteria (see the bookmark link below). Participants have until May 1st to complete the Challenge. You can pick up the bookmark from the Media Center circulation desk or print one yourself. Once completed, turn it in to one of our Media Center staff to have your name put up on our Wildcat Reader Wall. If you need help finding your first read, our Media Specialists would love to help you!

Thank you to everyone who supported the Friends and Family Night and the Character Education Breakfast.  Both events were a success, thanks to the generosity and dedication of parents, faculty, students, and our business community!  We will provide a full report on Friends and Family Night in the next Principal’s Message. In the meantime, please check out the Millbrook Magnet High School PTSA Facebook page to see daily posts with short videos of our amazing Talent Show performances.  Thank you to everyone who helped….we couldn’t have done it without you!
