WCPSS Family Survey - Please Complete!

If you haven’t done so already, please complete the annual WCPSS Family Survey. It is an important tool to help us at WES better support your needs. You may access the survey at: surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family. 

WCPSS Remediation and Readministration Program

Students in Grades 3-5 will take End Of Grade (EOG) State Tests at the end of this school year. Should your child meet the criteria for our EOG Remediation and Readministration program, you will receive an invitation for your child to attend the program after your child takes the EOG  tests in June. For your planning purposes, the program dates for the end of the school year are: June 16 and 17. Transportation will be provided, and breakfast and lunch will be available.

2025-2026 Kindergarten Orientation

We will be holding a Kindergarten Orientation on Tuesday, May 20th from 5:00-6:00 pm. At the orientation, you will learn about WES, what to expect as a kindergarten parent, and what you can do now to support your child in getting ready for kindergarten. To help us better plan for the event, please RSVP here.

Roll out the Red Carpet Spirit Day Friday, May 16

Roll out the Red Carpet and dress your best or as your favorite actor, actress, or star as you walk the red carpet on Friday, May 16th. Celebrate an amazing Night of the Arts and a week of movies and books on this special day. Flyer

Yearbooks are in!

Yearbooks have arrived and were distributed this week. If you missed your chance to order one, we have less than 20 extra copies. You can purchase the yearbook at jostens.com and we will deliver it the week of May 19th. Questions? Email yearbook@weatherstonepta.com

STEAM Expo
WES is excited to announce that we are merging our annual STEM Land event with the Night of the Arts to become the STEAM Expo on May 15! The STEAM Expo will include presentations from STEM vendors and individuals, a GLOBAL ART HOP from our K-5 art program, a musical concert presented by the WES chorus, BOGO Scholastic book fair, outdoor activities, food trucks, and more. BOGO Book Fair is next week! We would love to have your help! Please take a look at the signup for open shifts and sign up if you are able. It is our volunteers that help make the book fair an aWESome success year after year.
