Music: Christy Blazey | firstname.lastname@example.org | Twitter
Ms. Blazey is a graduate of The Hartt School of Music. She has her National Board Certification in elementary music education. She was born and raised in upstate New York just outside of Rochester. She has two children, Michael and Rachel, and a sweet black, mixed-breed dog named Toby. She has been singing since she was three years old and has played piano since late elementary school. She has a very strong bond with Boston, Massachusetts since her sister's family has lived there for more than twenty years. Of course, if you love Boston, you have to love the Red Sox as well! One unique fact about Ms. Blazey, she has a little bit of an addiction to puzzles.
Mrs. Foster loves to learn and watch her students achieve their goals! She grew up in Raleigh and can't think of anywhere else to live and teach! She is married with two children, Cayden and Nathan, and two dogs. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and from Meredith College with a Master's Degree in K-6 Curriculum and Instruction. She is also a National Board Certified teacher in middle childhood. In her free time, she loves to be outside whether that is traveling to somewhere new, tailgating for NC State football games, playing with her kids or going for a run. Mrs. Foster loves to teach math and science and help her students create a lifelong love of the two subjects!
Mr. Hogan has a passion to promote lifelong learning in and outside of the classroom. He is eager to not only teach his students but also learn from them as well. He is originally from Vestal, NY near the Binghamton area. He went to college at SUNY Oneonta in New York and received an Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education and Computer Art and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. He has a flat-haired retriever dog named Charlie. He absolutely loves the Green Bay Packers and it may or may not be a goal of his to make sure his students are fans by the end of the year as well. He certainly has a sweet tooth for pretty much any dessert out there. He is a big Harry Potter fan and had a chance to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When he is not at school, he might be walking his dog or spending time with friends and family. Go cheeseheads!
