    Meet The Team


    Shanna Darwish | smdarwish@wcpss.net | 

    Mrs. Darwish was born and raised in North Carolina. She views education as a life-long experience and enjoys learning alongside her students each school year. Mrs. Darwish is a mother of five children, including a set of triplets! She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from N.C. State. Go Wolfpack!  In addition to teaching in North Carolina, Mrs. Darwish spent nine years teaching in Cairo, Egypt. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, traveling with her family, and spending time with her cute cat, Oreo


    Ms. DiToro

    Ms. DiToro grew up in New York but she and her parents have lived in North Carolina for many years. She graduated from Campbell University (go Camels!) in 2019 with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. Her happy place is the beach, and she loves collecting seashells! In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, participate in choir, and work on puzzles.

    Mrs. Zoller loves sharing her passion for education with the aWESome students and staff at Weatherstone. She grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and attended college at The University of Michigan. Mrs. Zoller has degrees in both psychology and elementary education. She and her husband are busy raising two kids and two dogs. While not at school, Mrs. Zoller can be found cheering on the Michigan football team (GO BLUE!) and The Carolina Hurricanes (Go Canes!). She also enjoys vacations with her family, relaxing with a good book, and goofing around with new technology.


    Erin Candy

    Ms. Candy graduated from Saint Michael's College with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. She is originally from Northern Virginia, but has lived outside of Boston, Massachusetts for the last four years. She recently has relocated to North Carolina to start her teaching career. Outside of school, Ms. Candy enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. She is very excited to be a part of the Weatherstone community!
