Tier II Interventionist: Cindy Taylor | ctaylor2@wcpss.net | Website | Assistant: Nancy Navecky

Mrs. Taylor is a North Carolina native. She grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. As a young person she enjoyed playing piano, trumpet and singing with the church youth ensemble. After graduating from Terry Sanford High School, she went on to further her education at East Carolina University. Mrs. Taylor always knew her major would be education. She comes from a long line of teachers. Her Mother, Grandmother and several aunts were all teachers. She has a passion for working with young children and growing them as readers and life long learners. Her personal interests include decorating, gardening, reading, exercising and music. She is married to Jeremy, owner of Taylor Land Consultants. Together they have a daughter Mackenzie who dances competitively and enjoys videography. The three of them enjoy spending time boating, attending concerts and playing with their dog Maxwell. Mrs. Taylor is Weatherstone's K-2 Literacy Coach and Reading Interventionist. She is committed to supporting the staff and students here at WES.

Mrs. Navecky is a native North Carolinan. She has been an educator for more than 25 years. She graduated from East Carolina University (AARGH...pirates!) with a degree in special education and certification in preschool disabilities. She and her husband have 8 children between them.  In her free time she enjoys live music and performances, local festivals and outings, and exploring secondhand thrift and consignment boutiques in search of cast away treasures.

Miss Christopher grew up in Maryland, but has lived in North Carolina, Michigan, Massachusetts, and South Carolina. She has been teaching since 1992, and has worked at public and private schools on traditional and year-round calendars.  Over the years, she has taught Spanish, French, Health, Instructional Technology, and now AIG!  In her spare time, she loves to read, watch movies, cook and bake, and spend time with family.

AG Teacher: Annie Goodman | agoodman@wcpss.net | Website

Ms. Goodman is an AIG teacher at Weatherstone and will be working with nurturing students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade this school year. She has been teaching for over 20 years in North Carolina’s public, private and charter schools.  When not at school, you will usually find her outdoors with her two children and their 2 dogs. Ms. Goodman also has an Arabian horse, who she adopted during her first year of teaching. He is retired now, but still enjoys his “pony hair salon” time with his family.  The Goodmans love to go riding, hiking, fishing and camping together. Gardening is another hobby this teacher has (both indoors and out) and to cook all sorts of things. Baking with her little girl is one of Ms. Goodman’s favorite activities during rainy, or cold days. With her son, they enjoy bike rides, and creating giant forts in our front yard, with whatever nature has around for them to use.  Ms. Goodman and her kids are also huge superhero fans and love watching all of the movies together (and playing the roles too). It is a wonderful time to be an Explorer at Weatherstone Elementary.!
