    Meet The Team

    Mrs. Harris has a true passion to inspire young minds and help create lifelong learners. She is originally from Queens, New York and relocated to Cary with her husband, son, Aiden, who attends Weatherstone and daughter, Riley who is in middle school.  In her spare time, Mrs. Harris loves to dance, spend time at the beach, shop, read and play with her mini goldendoodle puppy, Blue. Spending time with family and friends and Starbucks are two of the things that she enjoys most. Before teaching at Weatherstone, Mrs. Harris spent many years teaching in New York City. She studied Early Childhood Education at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Touro College in Manhattan. She comes to school every day excited to teach and eager to learn from her students as well.

    Mr. Hogan has a passion to promote lifelong learning in and outside of the classroom. He is eager to not only teach his students but also learn from them as well. He is originally from Vestal, NY near the Binghamton area. He went to college at SUNY Oneonta in New York and received an Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education and Computer Art and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. He has a flat-haired retriever dog named Charlie. He absolutely loves the Green Bay Packers and it may or may not be a goal of his to make sure his students are fans by the end of the year as well. He certainly has a sweet tooth for pretty much any dessert out there. He is a big Harry Potter fan and had a chance to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When he is not at school, he might be walking his dog or spending time with friends and family. Go cheeseheads!

    Mrs. Kazanjian is a lifelong educator that loves the great outdoors. She enjoys traveling to the beach and volunteering her time at coastal parks to support marine wildlife. She also enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, hiking, boating, reading, and playing board games. Mrs. Kazanjian went to the University of South Florida where she received her degree in education. One fun fact about Mrs. Kazanjian is that she loves Loggerhead and Green turtles!

    Mrs. Foster loves to learn and watch her students achieve their goals! She grew up in Raleigh and can't think of anywhere else to live and teach! She is married with two children, Cayden and Nathan, and two dogs. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and from Meredith College with a Master's Degree in K-6 Curriculum and Instruction. She is also a National Board Certified teacher in middle childhood. In her free time, she loves to be outside whether that is traveling to somewhere new, tailgating for NC State football games, playing with her kids or going for a run. Mrs. Foster loves to teach math and science and help her students create a lifelong love of the two subjects!

    Mrs. Price is a lifelong learner. She loves working with children and inspiring them to love reading. She is married to Randy Price. They have two children Karson and Riley, and a dog Sophie. She has lived in Minnesota, Canada, and Florida. She is a graduate of Meredith College. Mrs. Price loves spending time going for walks, reading, working on scrapbooks, and taking trips to the beach. One fun fact about Mrs. Price is that she was a competitive figure skater.

    Mrs. Sovereign is passionate about teaching and engaging her students through hands-on projects and assignments. She grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Illinois State University. Mrs. Sovereign began her teaching career at Weatherstone in 2001 and has taught second, third and fourth grade. She is married to her husband Eric and has two boys, Luke who is in high school, and Nathan who is in middle school. Mrs. Sovereign enjoys traveling to new places, watching movies and football with her family, playing tennis or pickleball, and playing with her sweet Mini Dachshund pup named Millie. Mrs. Sovereign loves being a part of her Weatherstone family and finds joy in building relationships with her students.
