We had 33 different countries represented! Next week is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Please see the details below from the PTA.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, May 5th-9th
Next week is teacher appreciation week! Please see our flyers in the Friday folder or in our newsletter. Along with the teachers, we will be honoring Dr, Kenjarski and Mrs. Hatch for National principal’s Day and our wonderful front office staff for Admin Week. Please stop by to show your appreciation for all of our hard-working staff. If you’d like to donate to a general fund for teachers and staff, we have one set up on our GiveBacks page.

Garden Steam Challenge
This Spring, we want to showcase all of our favorite STEM topics at Night of the Arts, and show our Edible Garden some love! For this challenge, you will pick your favorite STEM topic and paint it on a terracotta pot. The pots will be displayed in the Media Center and outside in our Edible Garden! *Must use acrylic paint, so the rain won’t wash your artwork away!
Here are some examples of STEM topics you can decorate your pots with: Lifecycle of a Butterfly, Plants, Outer space, Dinosaurs, Technology, Robots, Engineering & Bridges, and Animals. Deliver to the PTA table in the lobby between Monday May 5-Friday May 9th. (Be sure to include your name and your teacher’s name on your design!) You may read more information here.
