Next week is our last week of school before winter break. We will have spirit days everyday! You may read about the days here.

January 3rd Teacher Workday

At last week’s school board meeting, the board decided to make Friday, January 3rd a staff workday instead of a regular school day. Students will now return to school from winter break on Monday, January 6th.

Student Water Bottles

We are seeing an increase in spills from water bottles here at WES. Water bottle should close securely and not leak. Please double check your child’s water bottle for this. This will let us focus more on instruction and less on clean-up. Thank you for your help with this.

Kids Heart Challenge

Next month, Weatherstone Elementary will be participating in the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. The Kids Heart Challenge is a program which teaches students about heart health and healthy living and raises awareness about the impact of heart disease and stroke. Look for more information about the program in your child's book bag next week.
