Before and After School Care Program

The Weatherstone Before and After School Programs have openings at all grade levels. The program is run by Weatherstone staff. You may register for days needed or weekly. Fees average $2.75/hour. Before care begins at 7:00am and after care ends at 6:00 pm. The afterschool program includes time to work on homework. More information may be found on the WES Website.

Back to School Night

Our Back to School Night will be Thursday, Sept 19. Grade level teachers will host sessions at 5:30-6:00 and do a repeat session at 6:10-6:40. Support and instructional staff will be located in the cafeteria for families to visit.

 

DQ Spirit Night Sept 9

WES will have a spirit night from 4:00-8:00pm at the DQ located at 1008 Morrisville Carpenter Road. A portion of sales will go toward the WES PTA. You may view the event flyer here.

 

Spirit Day Sept 13

Make Your Mark! Students and staff should wear their favorite patterns, from polka dots and stripes to checks and plaids. 

 

WES Clothing Drive

We are excited to announce that our school is organizing a clothing drive to support those in need within our community. We kindly ask for your help in making this initiative a success.

 

What We’re Looking For:

We are collecting clean, gently used clothing items for ages 5-12. This includes shirts, pants, jackets, and shoes. Please ensure that all items are in good condition, as we want to provide quality clothing to those who need it (please do not donate used underwear or socks).

 

There will be boxes labeled in the school lobby for drop-off Sept 16th-19th.

 

Your generous donations will go a long way in supporting families and individuals in our community. The first general meeting of the 2024-2025 school year was held last night and the new officers were elected.

A Message From the Outgoing PTA President, Malia Lang 

It was an honor being your PTA President this past year. I would like to thank everyone in the Weatherstone School Community for their continued support of the PTA. I'd like to also thank the PTA Board. You are some of the most dedicated and hard working volunteers ever, and I've had an amazing time working with you all. Thank you for all you've done and will continue to do.

Last but not least, thank you to the wonderful Weatherstone Staff for your dedication to our kids. I wish you the best as you continue to help all kids love their elementary school years.

 

PTA Membership

Weatherstone PTA provides financial resources and parent participation for our school in support of academic programs, staff program needs, student initiatives and facility improvements. These programs would not be possible without your annual donations.  Anyone can join: teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and community members. Running Club Registration 2024-2025 School Year

Weatherstone Endurance Superstars (aka Running Club) is back for the 2024-2025 school year.  Join us WEDNESDAY mornings from 8:15-8:45 a.m. as we lace up and work towards completing a marathon by the end of the school year. Participation is open to all grades. Please note Kindergarten and 1st grade parents must stay with their children. Students will walk, jog or run around the track and keep count of the distance completed. If interested, please register and complete the waiver no later than Friday, Sept 27th. Please register only if your child is planning to attend.  Registration is online at:  WES 2024/2025 Running Club Registration Our first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 2nd.
