Mad Science After School Offering

Mad Science is coming to Weatherstone Elementary! In this introductory STEM program, kids explore a variety of introductory topics and learn about the wonders of both the life and physical sciences. They explore themes and answer questions like “What makes your hair stand up?”, “Is it a magnet or magic?” and “Just what are carbs, anyway?” See more in this fun video!

STEM Land Recap and THANK YOU

What a success!  A usually quiet building on a Saturday was full of students and families learning and creating.  People waited patiently for their turn to win the donated tasty treats. As the day wound down, the gym filled for the mystery reader reveal and the Mad Science demonstration at the PTA meeting. Thank you to all the volunteers and donors for engineering a fantastically fun STEM event!
