On-site before and/or after school care is available and provided by the Cary YMCA. 

Hours are 7:00 AM-8:45 AM and 3:45 PM-6:00 PM. 

Applications are available from the front office or from the Cary YMCA (click on link for additional information).

Before School Care

YMCA onsite at Carpenter Elementary Before School is an entertaining and structured morning program. The program provides a fun, loving staff to play and encourage your children. Early Arrival activities are held in gym. Our mornings are filled with a variety of games and challenges for your children such as cards, board games, puzzles, and crafts. There is also an active programming in the morning as well. The program runs from 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. each morning.

After School Care

YMCA onsite at Carpenter Elementary After School is a safe, fun alternative to hanging out at home each afternoon! Held on-site at Carpenter Elementary School, campers’ afternoons are filled with gym and field games, arts & crafts, a quiet place to read, assemblies, and much more! The program runs from school dismissal until 6 p.m. each school day; this includes scheduled early release days, which are covered in the program cost.
