My name is Maria Esther, and I was born in Honduras! I grew up on a farm located in a small town called Copan. That’s why I love nature, animals, cocoa and coffee. 

I went to university in Mexico City where I lived for seven years, and graduated with a BA in Education and a Masters Degree in Special Education. In 2012 I received a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have been teaching for seventeen years in elementary and middle school and also I have six years experience teaching in superior level. 

I have been happily married for seven years with my husband Adolfo. We don't have children yet. We enjoy traveling and meeting new cultures and people. I  also enjoy reading, writing, running and cooking.  I consider myself a very creative, enthusiastic, patient and responsible person who enjoys the challenges involved in my career. Spanish is my native tongue and sharing this beautiful language and culture with others would give me great pleasure. 

Hi! My name is Melissa Colin. I am originally from Connecticut, but I have been in North Carolina for quite some time.  Jeffreys Grove is special to me because all my children have attended school here. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, writing stories and doing what makes me happy.

My name is Lindsay Joyce and I began my teaching career in Wake County in 2005 and then moved to Wilmington, New Hanover County where I worked for nine years before returning to Wake County last year. This will be my 20^th year of teaching and I am excited to start my new adventure in second grade. My husband is a Director of Golf, and my two boys love to be outside and enjoy playing all sports. I enjoy being outside watching my children play sports, going to the beach and watching the Tarheels play. 

My name is Gina Rodriguez and I am from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I have been a teacher for seven years. 

In my free time I like to spend it with my family and friends, visit zoos and museums, and going to the movies.
