Mrs. DelSorbo: I am originally from Virginia and attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies). I have been in NC for 15 years. I do life with my husband Jayson and my two daughters, Ella who is 16 and a Junior in High School, and Anna who is 13 and in 8th grade. We also have two labradoodles, Molly and Henry. I love football and is it one of my favorite things in life! We are huge Buffalo Bills fans as my husband is from Buffalo. We love to travel and see new places and I also love to exercise. Our favorite places to travel are the beach, Blacksburg and Buffalo for a Bills game as we try to go every year. I love teaching at White Oak and think the staff and students here are some of the best in the world! I feel so lucky to be here!

Mrs. Harmer: I’m delighted to start my first year as a third-grade teacher at White Oak Elementary School. It’s an honor to be part of this amazing school community. I have been working in education for over 10 years. I started as a substitute teacher in South Dakota. In 2017, due to my husband's work, my family moved to Florida, where I taught second and third grade. In 2021, we moved to North Carolina, and I started teaching third grade at Davis Drive Elementary School, where I taught for four years.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Dakota State University and a Reading Endorsement from Pasco County School District. I have a daughter who is a junior in college at UNC Charlotte. I’m passionate about helping all children reach their potential, and I love to challenge students to be curious and take chances when learning. I look forward to embarking on this exciting learning journey with my students and witnessing each one of them blossom academically!

Mrs. Kellogg: Welcome Explorers! This is my 14th year teaching and my 5th year at White Oak.  This will be my first-year teaching in third grade! Before moving to North Carolina in 2003, I taught for 2 years as a teaching assistant at a private school in Massachusetts. After moving south, I taught first grade for two years in Granville County. In 2005 I began teaching first grade in Wake County at Highcroft Drive Elementary. In 2013 I left the classroom to stay home with our first child, Riley and we welcomed our second child, Jack in 2016. While away from the classroom, I was able to keep up my teaching skills by tutoring K-5 students. I returned to the classroom in 2021 and began teaching at White Oak Elementary! I can't wait for another wonderful year teaching wonderful explorers!

Ms. Lacouture: Hi there, White Oak Explorers! I am thrilled to spend another school year learning and growing with a group of fantastic 3rd graders!
I was born in California, but I grew up in South Florida. I am a beach girl at heart, but I have loved living here in North Carolina.
I enjoy exploring all the local trails and greenways, walking around downtown, and trying out different recipes in my free time.
3rd grade is my favorite grade, and I can't wait to help your child achieve success this year!

Certifications: Bachelors in Elementary Education K-6 with a certificate in community engagement. Certified in Reading and ESL.

Ms. Lawrence: Hi Explorers! I am so excited to be back for a third year in third grade here at White Oak! I graduated from Clemson University in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Go Tigers! In 2024, I received my Masters in Elementary Ed. with a concentration in AIG from UNC Charlotte, where I was born and raised. Outside of the classroom I love to travel, spend time with friends and family, shop, paint, and find new music. I am looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled year!

Mrs. Needell: After living in New Jersey for 22 years, I moved to North Carolina to begin my teaching career. I brought my dog, Beau, and moved in with my mom after college. I started teaching at Middle Creek Elementary in 2016 and quickly discovered my passion for working with students.

This is now my seventh year at White Oak Elementary and my tenth year in the classroom. I’m married and have a wonderful son who keeps life fun and busy. I’m proud to be part of a school community that values growth, relationships, and student success. I’m excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to get started!

Mrs. Wombacher:  Mrs. Wombacher: Hi, White Oak Families! I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and earned a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics at Rhode Island College.

I taught third grade in Rhode Island for two years, then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where I also taught third grade. We decided to move to the Raleigh area (much warmer) in 1999 and I stayed at home to raise our four children. This will be my 20th year teaching and I love being a part of the White Oak school community.

My husband Bob and I have 4 children: Kai, Sierra, Raynee, and Rio. Kai graduated from Brown University twice; Undergraduate with an Applied Mathematics degree and a Masters in Data Analytics. He is currently a Data Scientist/Product Manager for a Silicon Valley start-up corporation that was just acquired by IBM, Sierra graduated University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and is a dentist in the area. Raynee who graduated from UNC-Wilmington is currently teaching 2nd Grade in Cary and she is pursuing her Masters in School Administration from Appalachian State University, and Rio graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Mathematics & Statistics with a minor in Entrepreneurship & just graduated this Summer from Brown University with a Masters in Data Science. He just moved to Chicago & is working as a Quant Trader.

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, going to the beach, shopping, and watching my beloved Patriots.

Varsha Audut -- Instructional Assistant

Ms. Audut:  Hi, I’m Varsha Audut, I live in Apex with my husband and two kids. In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening and playing board games with my family. This is my 3rd year at White Oak Elementary. I’m very excited to be a part of this team and looking forward to the another great year at White Oak!
