Ms. Gorman: I grew up in Cary and attended Wake County Public Schools for all of my K-12 education. I graduated from the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program at Elon University with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. This will be my seventh year teaching. I spent two years teaching third grade at Sycamore Creek Elementary in Raleigh. I taught fourth grade at White Oak Elementary for the last four years. Previously, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica where I spent five months working in an elementary school teaching English. I am a dual-citizen of Australia and the United States and I love to travel and visit new places. I hope to bring all of these experiences into my classroom this year. I also enjoy swimming, hiking, and baking new recipes.

Ms. Hansen: I love teaching fourth grade and love fourth graders! I have been teaching in Wake County since 2008 and taught in Nash County previously. I love being a White Oak Explorer! As graduates of East Carolina University, my husband and I are big Pirate fans. We also root for the Francis Marion University Patriots where our daughter plays volleyball. Our boys are 17 and 14 and are involved in lacrosse and soccer. We love camping at the beach and traveling together when sports schedules allow. My students inspire me daily and I look forward to working with each of you!
