Ms. Yourkavitch: Hi everyone! My name is Megan Yourkavitch and I am excited to be a new member of the White Oak community! I am originally from Charlottesville VA, and I attended school at James Madison University. Although I'm not an ECU alum, I still represent purple and gold!! In my free time, I enjoy seeing live music, spending time with friends, and exercising.
I am so excited for this school year and I am looking forward to working together to help your child reach their fullest potential. I can't wait to meet all of you and begin building successful relationships that will help our students have an amazing year!

Ms. Hudson: I am from Clarksville, TN. I have two older brothers and one younger. I am a mom of two (S-Jayvyn 15 and D-Nikia 21). I am an Air Force Veteran and I have had the opportunity to live in many different places overseas and stateside. I am currently pursuing a MDE in Distance Education and e-Learning (Grad Spring of 2023). My hobbies are spending time with family and friends, cooking, crafting, reading, watching Japanese Animation, and Asian Dramas.

Ms. Seaboch: My name is Kristy Seaboch and I was born and raised in Wake County. I have four children ages 23, 20, 18 and 14. Two of my children attend NC State, one attends Wake Tech and the youngest is a freshman in high school. I love the beach, gardening and spending time with family, as well as knitting and crocheting. I am very excited to be working with your children here at White Oak and am positive that it will be a great year!

Ms. Chadha: This is my 4th year teaching ECS at White Oak! I am very excited to be teaching in person after a year of virtual instruction. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my two children--ages 19 and 14--and our Westie, Lucy. I love to cook, bake, read, binge-watch Netflix and visit extended family whenever I can. I grew up in Connecticut and moved to Cary from Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2004. Love North Carolina!

ECS 1 IA: Kristina Villati
Ms. Villati: Hello White Oak families! This is my second year as an instructional assistant for special programs. I'm currently attending UNCW online to receive my bachelor in elementary education, but plan on extending my knowledge and passion for special education. In my free time, I love to exercise, cook, travel, and spend time with friends and family. I'm excited to see all of the little Explorers soon for another great year!

Ms. Monzo: I am so eager and excited to join the staff at White Oak! I am originally from Wilmington, Delaware but attended college at East Carolina University in Greenville. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education Adapted Curriculum. I have seven years of experience working with students with special needs through volunteering, clinical experiences, and a year long full internship. I have always had a passion for working with children with special needs and knew from a young age that Special Education was what I wanted to pursue in life. Outside of school I enjoy traveling, being with friends and family, and playing with my rescue dog! I am very excited to begin this school year and work as a team to help students reach their goals!

Ms. Osbourne: My name is Kandy Osborne, the kids know me as Ms. Kandy. I was born and raised in Apex, North Carolina. I have four kids, two boys and two girls, who I live for! I recently graduated with my Associates in Arts degree and I am continuing my education in early childhood. I enjoy going to the beach, catching a good movie, and most of all spending time with my family! I am grateful to be a part of such a great team here at White Oak!

Ms. Jonnalagadda: Hi, My name is Padmaja Jonnalagadda and I go by the name Ms. J. I was born and raised in India. My husband works for SAS Institute and I have two boys, both sophomores, at Appalachian State University and Green Level High school. I worked as a Substitute Teacher at White Oak Elementary in the year 2018 and started as a full-time IA since 2019 and it's been wonderful working here ever since. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, etc with my family. I love the entire staff at White Oak Elementary and look forward to see them every single day.

Ms. Serrano: I am so glad to be a part of the White Oak Staff again this school year! I have been working in schools and hospital settings as a Speech Pathologist since 2001. I look forward to working with White Oak students this year and helping them with their speech and language skills.

Ms. Preston: I am delighted to be returning to White Oak ES this year. I have worked for Wake Co. Public Schools for a number of years and have been impressed by so many aspects regarding this school. I worked in healthcare and inpatient brain injury rehab for over 20 years prior to making the change to working with children. I really value having the opportunity to help improve communication skills for everyone of all ages. I have 3 nearly grown children and will soon have a grandson!

Physical Therapy - Michelle Bevil — mbevil@wcpss.net — Website — Twitter
Dr. Bevil -- I have been a physical therapist for 17 years. I graduated from Pfeiffer University and then went to University of St. Augustine in Florida for PT school. I have experience in outpatient orthopaedics, geriatrics and school-based pediatrics. My favorite part of this job is when I can help a student access their education with greater ease, safely. Outside of work I love my family, my dog, playing volleyball, all kinds of tea and the beach!
