Ms. Greene: I am extremely excited to be a part of the White Oak Elementary family as the Instructional Facilitator and AIG curriculum support teacher! I started my teaching journey in Atlanta but I love calling Wake County home! When I’m not working with the students and staff at White Oak, I enjoy spending time with my husband Josh and two adorable little ones (Austin and Madison). I also love to cook, shop, attend concerts and enjoy a good run. I am looking forward to working with all the students, teachers and families at White Oak this year. I believe that strong curriculum is the foundation of exploration and learning! I know that all of our Explorers will be TREKKING to new heights this year!!

Ms. Molinaro: I have been teaching in Wake County Schools since 1996 (with a 3 year break along the way). I was a second grade teacher before becoming an intervention teacher and literacy coach. I live in Cary with my husband, 3 children, and 2 cats.

Ms. Hines: Hi! I’m Bri. I’m so excited to be working as one of the counselors at White Oak Elementary this year! Some hobbies of mine include photography, nature, and spending time with my family. I have a two year old son that keeps me very busy! Looking forward to an awesome year!

Ms. Jesinkey: Hello! My name is Shannon Jesinkey and I am excited to be the new part-time counselor at White Oak ES! I am originally from North Carolina, but have also lived in Iowa and Indiana. I've been lucky enough to have lived abroad 2 times...one year in London, England and 4 years in Singapore! I received my undergraduate degree as well as my Master’s degree from North Carolina State University...GO PACK!. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at my church and in my community, spending time at the beach, reading, exercising, and cooking. I also enjoy spending time with my family. My husband & I especially love traveling with our daughters Riley Ann (sophomore at Apex HS) and Reagan (7th grader at Apex MS). One of my passions is helping students reach their full potential socially, emotionally and academically. I look forward to a great year of exploring and learning with you all at WOES!

Ms. LaPorta: Hello Explorers! I am excited for another year at WOE. I am originally from Rochester, NY, but I moved to North Carolina many years ago. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in the elementary school setting. As a classroom teacher I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades, and as a part time teacher I worked various roles such as a Read to Achieve teacher, enrichment specialist, home hospital teacher and Explorer/AIG teacher. One of my favorite things about working at White Oak Elementary is the diverse, friendly population. I am looking forward to a wonderful new year!
