How to Apply
In order to be eligible to apply to the Academy of Professional Educators, students must be assigned to Middle Creek High School as their base school. The Academy has an open and equitable student recruitment process that results in a student body that reflects the demographics of the school community. The academy is designed as a four-year high school program. Students are expected to commit to the program for the duration of their high school experience. The academy requires specific courses that incoporate an internship experience before high school graduation. The Academy of Professional Educators is unique in that the internship is a part of their class experience during their senior year and will be a part of their school day.
Our application period for the 2025-2026 school year will be Dec. 3rd - Feb. 7th. Please note that students will need two teacher's recommendations. Recommendations' contact information, including a current email address, is needed in order to complete the application. Teachers will be sent a link via email to complete the recommendation.
