Before the February 20, 2019, ACT test date, students will be required during an in-school session on February 13, 2019 to complete the non-test portion of their answer document. At this time, they will have the opportunity to select up to four colleges and universities that they would like to receive their ACT scores (free of charge).

A list of North Carolina college and university codes is provided on the reverse side of the attached letter. Students may wish to discuss these choices with their parents/guardians ahead of the non-test session. Students are allowed to bring the North Carolina College and University Codes document with them to the session to help identify their school selection(s).

Also included in this letter is information on how students can create a free ACT profile account from home. By following the link included in the letter, students can begin ACT’s college and career planning self-assessments.
