• PSAT - Fall 2018

    Any student may elect to take the PSAT. It will be administered on Oct 10 beginning at 7:30. Students should complete the registration form and submit payment by Sept 14 at 3:00. Students should register asap as seating is limited. Any 11th grade student with a GPA of 4.313 (as calculated by wcpss) may take the PSAT at no charge.     AP Exam Attendance Form - this form is due April 27th if you plan on arriving late or dismissing early.  Late forms will NOT be accepted.


    AP Exam Registration

    AP Registration opens February 1 (8 AM) and closes March 1 (4 PM).  All MCHS students who want to take the AP exam(s) MUST register during this timeframe.  There are no late registrations.  For registration instructions, please click the following link AP Exam Registration Instructions.

    Any non-MCHS student is to contact Mrs. Gillespie regarding registering for an AP exam.  She can be reached at tgillespie2@wcpss.net


    ACT Testing

    Before the February 27, 2018, ACT test date, students will be required during an in-school session to complete the non-test portion of their answer document. At this time, they will have the opportunity to select up to four colleges and universities that they would like to receive their ACT scores (free of charge).

    A list of North Carolina college and university codes is provided on the reverse side of the attached letter. Students may wish to discuss these choices with their parents/guardians ahead of the non-test session. Students are allowed to bring the North Carolina College and University Codes document with them to the session to help identify their school selection(s).

    Also included in this letter is information on how students can create a free ACT profile account from home. By following the link included in the letter, students can begin ACT’s college and career planning self-assessments.
