Panther Creek Student Council

  • The Panther Creek Student Council oversees student body events, the Interclub Council, and communication between the student body and Panther Creek's Administration. They work hard to make our educational environment a better place through the execution of projects and community service. Some of those projects include Homecoming, Powderpuff, Candy Grams, Volleybros, Prom, Teacher/Senior Appreciation, and so much more.

Each grade level has a respective “class council” (i.e. 9th Grade has the Freshman Class Council, 12th Grade has the Senior Class Council). Each class council has a Class President, Class Vice President, Class Secretary, Class Treasurer, and 3 Class Representatives. Furthermore, the entire student body has an “executive board” overseeing the work of the class councils. The following officers compose the Executive Board: Student Body President, Student Body Vice President, Student Body Secretary, Student Body Treasurer, Student Body Historian, and Student Body Parliamentarian.

Being part of the student council is one of the most coveted recognitions available to students at Panther Creek High School. In an effort to emulate a government, the school holds elections for student council in the spring for the next year’s Sophomore Class Council, Junior Class Council, Senior Class Council, and Executive Board (leaders of the council). A special election is held in the fall of each year, once the new freshmen class enters PCHS, to fill the positions available in the Freshman Class Council. Information to apply will be posted ahead of time through various school communication channels.

  • The Panther Creek Student Council has been nationally recognized in the years of 2022, 2023, and 2024 as a “National Gold Council of Excellence” by the National Association of Student Councils (NASC).
