Mr. Baldwin
Mr. Baldwin is an energetic Career Development Coordinator at Vernon Malone College and Career Academy. His primary goals are to find, create, and build relationships with the business community that will lead to internships, off-site learning experiences, and guest speakers. This allows him to link the business community to students and then prepare them to make a real-world connection and informed decisions for post-high school planning.
Building bridges from VMCCA to business partners to benefit students, staff and the school is what he enjoys most. He spent 10 years as a NASCAR TV Producer before entering into education. This allows for a unique perspective on how to best combine Corporate America with our schools' needs. Mr. Baldwin heads up Advisory Boards for each program area, as well as an Advisory Council that works with the entire school. This allows business partners to work and align their needs with our schools' needs.
Mr. Baldwin received his bachelor of science in Communications from Appalachian State University and a Masters in Education from North Carolina A&T University. When Mr. Baldwin isn't coordinating internships, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching NASCAR, sharing NASCAR stories, following NASCAR drivers on social media and reminiscing about his NASCAR days.
