Hi, I am Celeste Whaley, a First Grade Teacher here at YMES. I was born and raised in the Raleigh/Garner area. I have a passion for working with children which began in early high school. I graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates) with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education! In my free time I am with my dog Goose, traveling with my boyfriend, spending time with family, or baking. 

My goal is to support each student educationally and emotionally to create a safe and successful learning environment. I am excited to take this journey with your student at Yates Mill Elementary!
