Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! My name is Stephenie Logan. I am the new Physical Education teacher here at Lincoln Heights Environmental Connections Magnet. I grew up as an avid athlete focusing on field hockey and softball. My love for softball led me to a Division 1 scholarship at Campbell University where I played shortstop for the Fighting Camels and studied to become a teacher. After teaching third grade for four years, my career led me to Literacy Coaching where I have served the last ten years. I have always had a passion for coaching and physical fitness. With that said, I look forward to taking on a new role in "coaching" right here at Lincoln Heights. Many of the students already know me from working with their teachers and being in their classrooms from time to time. I am excited to continue our relationships in this new role where we will learn to develop a healthy lifestyle and a lifelong love for physical activity. I will plan to integrate as much literacy, math, science, and social studies as I can into our physical fitness lessons. On a personal note, I am married to Nate, also a Physical Education teacher for Wake County, and I have two beautiful children, Erin (5) and Blake (2). We love spending time at the beach, being outside, and going to church. My email is open for any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org and you can follow me on twitter @stephenie_logan. I look forward to working with your children this year (virtually or in person) as we embark on a healthy school year!
