  • 6th Grade Field Trip Message from Mr. Daniels

Posted by Kelly Aman on 10/29/2019 4:00:00 PM

If your 6th grader is going on the field trip tomorrow, here are some last minute reminders from the 6th grade team:

Students should arrive no later than 6:20 am and report directly to the cafeteria where they will be supervised by their core teachers.

Ponchos or rain jackets will be helpful to bring as there is a 60% chance of rain.

Wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable if they get wet.

Bookbags are not allowed in the zoo but students may bring a change of clothes or shoes and leave them on the bus.

Students may bring school appropriate DVDs for the bus and snacks if they would like.  There will be snacks provided on the return trip.

Return time is 4:00 pm.  Parents may pick up students in our main carpool loop.  The cafeteria lot may only be used by the charter buses.  Parents may park in the bus lot and walk up the cafeteria lot to pick up their children or they may use the main carpool loop.

Students will receive a breakfast snack, a lunch meal, and a snack on the return trip.

Join the remind group for updates.  The remind document came home last week.

  • Urgent Message for Parents of Walkers and Carpoolers

Posted by Kelly Aman on 10/7/2019 7:00:00 AM

Union Bank has notified us that parents are dropping off and picking up children in their parking lot and has requested that this stop immediately.  Parents have blocked the ATM and the night drop.  Parents have also blocked the driveway preventing employees from accessing their place of employment.

More concerning is that students are climbing the fence surrounding the retention pond to meet their parents, which is a significant safety concern.
