🚨 Event Update: Pie in the Face Fundraiser Canceled for Now 🚨

Due to recent news that the Wake County Public School System has frozen hiring and implemented spending and travel restrictions, we are currently awaiting confirmation on whether a waiver will allow us to attend the Magnet Conference in Nashville. (Read more about it here: CBS17 Article)

Unfortunately, for now, we will not be holding the Pie in the Face Fundraiser tomorrow. 🥧

 

🌸 Spring Picture Day is Coming! 📸

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 25! Individual and class pictures will be taken on this day. 🧑‍🎓👩‍🎓

Make sure your child is ready to smile for their spring photos! 😊 #SpringPictureDay #PicturePerfect

 

Educational Leave Requests

Excused absences can be found on the WCPSS Attendance and Absences webpage. Educational opportunities that require an absence from school may be approved with advance notice. Families who wish to request an excused absence for educational reasons should submit the WCPSS Request for Excused Absence for Educational Reasons (English / Spanish) to Mr. Hernandez prior to the absence. Excused absences for educational reasons will be granted only if (1) the primary purpose of the trip is educational and (2) the event does not occur at another time (i.e., launching of space shuttle, presidential inauguration). Please submit this form to the school. The principal will review your request for approval or denial. 

A maximum of ten educational days a year can be approved by Mr. Hernandez. 

Please note that Mr. Hernandez will not approve of any educational absences when a student has missed more than 10 days of school.

 

🌸 Spring Cleaning Alert! 🌸

It's time to tidy up Fuller Magnet's Lost and Found! We have tons of winter coats, sweaters, gloves, water bottles, and lunch boxes waiting to be claimed.

👉 Parents, please remind your child to check the Lost and Found for any missing items.

🗓️ Deadline to collect items: Wednesday, March 12. After that, anything left will be bagged and donated.

📢 Reminder: SSA Testing Nomination Window is Open Today📚

Parents, don’t forget to submit your SSA (Single Subject Acceleration) testing nominations!

📌 Important Dates: ✅ SSA Request Form Available:

• Traditional test request window: March 10–March 28, 2025 

• Traditional Form

✅ Testing Window: April 11 – April 25
