Greetings Fuller Falcon Families,

As we close out another amazing school year, we send you warm greetings and heartfelt thanks for being an integral part of our school community. The 2024-2025 school year has been one of growth, discovery, and Falcon pride! Our students have worked hard to grow their gifts and talents, while building stronger foundations in reading, math, science, social studies, and writing. Along the way, they’ve also developed essential 21st century skills in communication, collaboration, creativity, inquiry, and problem-solving.

Closing the doors at 806 Calloway Drive each June is always bittersweet. We are so proud of every Fuller Falcon and all they’ve accomplished this year. Whether it was a student’s first year or their final year at Fuller, we’ve seen incredible moments of learning, leadership, and joy.

To our amazing 5th grade students and their families—congratulations on your promotion to middle school! We are excited to see all you will achieve in the years ahead. While many of you will still be part of our community through younger siblings, we’ll truly miss those who are moving on. Thank you for the memories and your years of support.

Looking ahead, we are already preparing for a strong start to the 2025-2026 school year! Please mark your calendars—our first day of school will be Monday, August 25, 2025, and Meet the Teacher Night for returning Falcons will take place on Thursday, August 21 from 2:00–5:00 PM.

Family updates will resume in early August with everything you’ll need to know to begin the year strong. Until then, we wish your family a joyful and restful summer. Thank you for sharing your children with us—we are better because of them.

🚫 Educational Leave Requests at the Start of 2025–2026

Many families have reached out about taking Educational Leave at the start of next school year. Please be aware of a critical district policy and our school expectations:

• 🚫 Educational Leave WILL NOT be approved during the first 20 days of school.

• ✔️ Students are not officially enrolled (E1 code) until they are physically present.

• 📊 The district uses our first 20-day attendance count to determine staffing.

• 🧑‍🏫 Last year, we lost a homeroom teacher due to under-enrollment during this window.

💡 We are currently staffed with the exact number of homeroom teachers we need. If we lose enrollment in the first 20 days, we could lose a teacher—and your child may be required to return to their base school if a seat is no longer available.

➡️ Please plan accordingly to ensure your child is present for the first days of school.

Your support ensures that we keep our incredible staff and start the year strong!

🕐 Doors open at 1:10 PM for guest seating in the gym.
💡 Please note: All cafeteria lunches will be completed by 1:00 to prepare the space.
🚗 Due to limited parking, we strongly encourage early arrival.
🚌 The lot must be cleared by 3:15 PM for buses and carpool access.

🎉 Senior Class of 2025 (Graduating 12th Graders)– Fuller Alumni Clap-Out

🎓 Help us celebrate our former Falcons!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families are welcome to line the halls between 2:10–2:25 PM.

For this year’s Senior Clapout, students are encouraged to wear college gear or their Fuller Falcon shirts to show their pride and cheer on our high school graduates as they return to walk the halls one last time. 💙​​​​​​​
🚗 Please plan to exit the parking lot by 3:15 PM to allow for a smooth dismissal.

📦 End-of-Year Items & Report Cards

📬 Report Cards will go home on Friday, June 13.
🧥 Lost & Found, student belongings, and unclaimed report cards will be held in the front office for two weeks only.
🗓️ All remaining items must be picked up by Friday, June 27. After that, they will be discarded as we prepare for a new school year.
