Student Device Program 2021-2022
WCPSS shared an update about student devices on July 6. We included a summary of the information below. The details are available here.
"All students will be assigned a student Chromebook at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year.
- If your student has no district Chromebook checked out, they will receive one at the beginning of the school year.
- For students with a Chromebook checked out, they may be required to return the Chromebook to receive a new one, or they may be required to continue using it, depending on the model."
We will share more information in August regarding new student permission forms and those students eligible to receive a new device.
If you plan on driving your child or picking them up from school at any point during the year, and do NOT already have a family carpool tag, please CLICK HERE to complete an online application. A carpool tag will be ready for you at the beginning of the new school year!
WCPSS bus information will be shared in mid-August.
YMCA Before & After Care Information
Before & After Care is provided at our school by the Northwest Cary YMCA. Registration is NOW available for all K-5 White Oak Elementary School students. Please visit our website for more informaiton.
All parents and family members that are interested in volunteering at school or as a field trip chaperone are required to register and receive Volunteer clearance. WCPSS has released a new process for volunteer registration on our website.
(Unless you renewed registration in the 2020-2021 school year, most families will choose "New WCPSS Volunteers.")
Please note that based on the current state & district guidance we are not able to have volunteers in our building at this time. However, we reccommend families complete the registration now so that you are available to help if and when the guidance changes.
Student Supply Lists
Grade level lists for the upcoming school year are available on our school website.
