Athens Drive High School families,

 

This is an urgent message.

 

Due to a power outage on our campus, we will be dismissing students early at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 14. Duke Power is onsite working with a team from the district and estimates that it will take between four to six hours for power restoration because the issue requires a replacement of a line buried underground.

 

School buses will provide transportation home for students who ride by bus. Parents are permitted to pick up their students now and student drivers are permitted to leave campus prior to 10:30 a.m. to minimize the number of students on campus. Please know that staff will remain on campus with students until they are picked up. 

 

After-school activities are cancelled.

Este es un mensaje urgente.

Debido a un corte de energía en nuestro recinto escolar, despediremos a los estudiantes a las 10:30 a. m. del jueves 14 de septiembre. Duke Power está en el lugar trabajando con un equipo del distrito  escolar y estima que tomará entre cuatro y seis horas restablecer la energía porque la cuestión requiere la sustitución de una línea enterrada bajo tierra.

Los autobuses escolares proporcionarán transporte a casa para los estudiantes que viajan en autobús. A los padres se les permite recoger a sus estudiantes ahora y los estudiantes conductores pueden irse antes de las 10:30 a.m. para minimizar la cantidad de estudiantes en el recinto escolar.  El personal escolar permanecerá en el recinto escolar con los estudiantes hasta que sean recogidos. Se cancelan las actividades después de la escuela.
