Good afternoon, Middle Creek High School families,

What an exciting and eventful week we’ve had at The Creek! Prom was a tremendous success—our students looked incredible and truly danced the night away. It was a memorable evening for our upperclassmen, filled with joy and celebration.

We also kicked off AP Testing this week, which will continue into next week. Over 1,600 AP exams are being administered during this testing window—a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.

Spring sports have wrapped up their regular seasons, and many of our teams are heading into postseason play. We’re proud of their efforts and wish them the best of luck in the next phase of competition!

This week, we also had the pleasure of celebrating our outstanding teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week 2025. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible PTSA and generous business partners for helping make our staff feel valued and supported. We’re so fortunate to be part of such a strong and caring school community.

Lastly, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Diann Kearney to the Strong Stable as our interim principal. She has already made a wonderful impression—diving right in to connect with students and staff across the building.

Information from Student Services: 

AP Testing Information for Spring 2025: AP Testing will be from May 5-16. Parents should carefully read the information found at this link and go over this information with their students in order to prepare for AP testing this year. AP tests are online and students must have a fully charged WCPSS chromebook or personal Mac/Windows device to test.

 

Seniors- Class of 2025:

Senior Awards Night

Senior Awards Night will be held on May 29 at 6:30 pm in the MCHS gym.  We will recognize the Latin Honors graduates this evening, along with a few other scholarships and awards.  We will also announce the scholarship total for the Class of 2025, so make sure to report all academic, athletic, arts, and other merit scholarship to jmorris@wcpss.net.  If you received an invitation to Senior Awards Night in the mail that means that your student is receiving an award.  These students should arrive by 6:15 and will find their seat on the gym floor.  Please contact Mrs. Gillespie with any questions.  

 

Scholarship Reporting for the Class of 2025

We are excited to recognize Seniors who have been offered a scholarship at our Senior Awards Night this May.  Please email any scholarship offers to Mrs. Morris at jmorris@wcpss.net.  Scholarships can be academic, athletic, arts, or community-based and students do not need to attend the college in order for us to include that in our listing.  Last year’s class earned the largest total in MCHS history with over $18 million dollars and we want to see if we can repeat or even beat that total with the Class of 2025!
