Principal's Weekly Message

Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,

I hope all our students and families have had a great week. With today off for the holiday, hopefully your student is enjoying some extra time with family and friends.  This week’s message has a lot of information, celebrations, and timely reminders. We have also included important senior information for reference or if you could not make the parent meeting Tuesday.

Thank you for your attention to these details!

Information & Reminders:

We are proud to share that our school received the  ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation this year! This national award, given by the American School Counselor Association, recognizes schools that demonstrate direct and indirect services to students, program planning, and improved student outcomes as a result of the school counseling program. Thank you to our Student Services staff and counselors for their hardwork and dedication- they are truly top notch!

Help our MCHS PTSA support & celebrate staff:

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up (May 5th-9th) and the PTSA has daily treats planned to show love to our teachers.  Please support these efforts by donating your time or items!

We appreciate the teamwork to bring these ideas and initiatives to life!

Senior Group Photo - THIS WEEK!

The senior group photo for the Class of 2025 will be taken on Wednesday, April 23rd at the beginning of 2nd block.  All seniors will report to the Main Gym, after an announcement from Ms. Megronigle.  Seniors should bring their cap and gown with them on Wednesday, as no students will be allowed to go to their car prior to the photo or after the photo is taken.  Families may purchase this photo as an add on or a-la-carte option when ordering graduation photos in June, following graduation.  Questions - see Ms. Megronigle.

Scholarship Reporting for the Class of 2025

We are excited to recognize Seniors who have been offered a scholarship at our Senior Awards Night this May.  Please email any scholarship offers to Mrs. Morris at jmorris@wcpss.net.  Scholarships can be academic, athletic, arts, or community-based and students do not need to attend the college in order for us to include that in our listing.  Last year’s class earned the largest total in MCHS history with over $18 million dollars and we want to see if we can repeat or even beat that total with the Class of 2025!
