Principal's Weekly Message
Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,
I hope all our families enjoyed a wonderful weekend and stayed safe and warm through the inclement weather. This week we will be having our Fall Final Exams, with one exam each day, starting with your student’s 4th block exam on Monday. We wish all the students the best of luck and encouragement to try their best!
All the specific details for the exam schedule are provided below for your review. Please keep in mind that no students will be able to be checked out early during the exam window between 7:30-11:30 due to test security protocols. If you would like your student to be dismissed after they finish their exam (11:30) but before the 12:30 dismissal time, they will need to have an early dismissal pass completed to give to their teacher each day. Parents who arrive early to pick up their students and need an area to wait, may utilize the student parking lot.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we navigate the different schedule this week.

The schedule for final exams is provided below and will be reviewed with students in their classes on January 9th.
**Most students will not report to campus on Friday, January 17th unless they have to make up for an exam missed earlier in the week.

A portion of each purchase will directly support MCHS programs and initiatives. Be sure to mention you are supporting MCHS when you order!
Information from Student Services:
State Employees Credit Union People Helping People Scholarship
The application for the SECU People Helping People Scholarship has now been posted on the MCHS Scholarship Listing and in all senior counselor Canvas classrooms. Students who are members of the SECU or are eligible for membership through their parents can apply for this $10,000 scholarship. Please read the information at this link carefully as the application process takes several days to complete. Finalized application packets must be emailed to Mrs. Gillespie at tgillespie2@wcpss.net by February 14, 2025.
Seniors- Class of 2025:
Scholarship Reporting for the Class of 2025
We are excited to recognize Seniors who have been offered a scholarship at our Senior Awards Night this May. Please email any scholarship offers to Mrs. Morris at jmorris@wcpss.net. Scholarships can be academic, athletic, arts, or community-based and students do not need to attend the college in order for us to include that in our listing. Last year’s class earned the largest total in MCHS history with over $18 million dollars and we want to see if we can repeat or even beat that total with the Class of 2025!
Thank you for your attention to these details. I hope you have a great week!
Sincerely,
Lacey Peckham, Principal
