Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families, 

 

We had a wonderful, chilly week here at The Creek. With only two school weeks left until the holiday break, and three instructional weeks until first semester exams, time is moving quickly!

 

Below are a few reminders and informational updates about testing, to assist families in being prepared for the weeks ahead. I appreciate your attention to all of the details!

Information & Reminders:

Final Exam Information:

Final exams for first semester classes will be held on-campus on January 13th-17th. Students will be taking either teacher-made exams or a state exam (CTE or EOC courses).  Reminder, that final exam participation is required unless you are a 12th grader that has earned exemption status for a particular course.  Final exams will count for 20% of the final course grade. The schedule for final exams is provided below and will be reviewed with students in their classes on January 9th.  

**Most students will not report to campus on Tuesday, January 23rd unless they have to make up for an exam missed earlier in the week.

Information from Student Services: 

PreACT Scores distributed to Sophomores on Thursday 12/5

Sophomores who took the PreACT on Oct 15 received their score report during Mustang Moments on Thursday.  Score reports from makeup testing will be distributed at a later date when they arrive.  Students should use this report as preparation for the ACT that they will take during the spring of their junior year. For information on how to interpret PreACT scores please view these slides that were shared with students.
