Principal's Weekly Message
Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,
It has been another great week here at The Creek. Report cards were distributed to students today, so please check in with students as they bring them home. On Monday we will be celebrating Veteran’s Day, so we will not have school and our building will be closed. Thank you to all the veterans in our community! We honor you and your commitment and service to our country.
Below are just a few reminders and informational updates for next week. I appreciate your attention to all of the details!
Information & Reminders:
We have several opportunities for our families to support MCHS school staff and programs over the next few weeks. Please see below for ways that you can help!
Gifts of Gratitude:
The month of December is a festive time, but also can be very busy and stressful for our teachers. Because of this, I often arrange for various games and morale-boosting activities for the teachers and staff in the weeks leading up to Christmas. If any families or community members are willing to contribute to the prizes for the games, they would be GREATLY appreciated. If you are willing to donate a $5-$10 gift card to any fast food or store location towards a goal of 40 prizes for these games, please drop them off in our front office with Ms. Whitley. She will ensure they get locked up and used for this purpose. With a staff of over 100, it is wonderful to get to sprinkle some fun and gifts during the holiday season. THANK YOU to any who are willing to contribute.
Stock the Staff Lounge!
Our fantastic PTSA Hospitality Committee is providing a luncheon for our teachers this month, and works hard to keep the staff lounge stocked with snacks periodically throughout the year. Please consider helping donate towards these efforts!

On Tuesday, November 12, during second block, all students will participate in a required training on the Say Something-Anonymous Reporting System that will launch soon for all WCPSS students. Click here for more information on this initiative. Seniors with late arrival will need to report to second block at 8:50 Tuesday morning.
Freshman Parent Meeting
On November 13 at 6 pm, Student Services will host our Freshman Parent Meeting. We will discuss helpful things for parents of the Class of 2028 to know and share the information that your students are also receiving in their Freshman meetings that start in school on November 8.
