Summer Updates #1

Good afternoon MCHS Families,

I hope all our families are having a wonderful summer so far! Informational emails will be coming periodically throughout the remainder of the summer, and we will begin with the weekly principal emails starting mid-August. 

Though we are still early in our Summer break, I wanted to provide you some initial information and calendar dates to help you prepare.

Report Cards: 

Report cards have been mailed and should arrive at your homes soon if they haven’t already!



Our MCHS Scheduling team is hard at work getting student schedules ready for the start of the school year. In the off-chance that students can see a schedule in powerschool at any time during July and early August, please know that this schedule is NOT FINALIZED and has a high likelihood of changing. Once schedules are in a finalized state, we will email students and families so that they may check it officially in powerschool. 


Save the Date:  Freshman Orientation will be held on August 15th - please see the linked flier below for details!  10-12th Grade Transfer Student Orientation will also be held on August 15th at MCHS - details are included in the flier linked below.



Rising Juniors and Seniors:

One big change for this coming school year is that we will be using a new online payment system for dues, parking and lunch passes. This new system requires that families create an account, so we wanted to share that process with you now.

Parking & lunch passes will not go on sale until July 10th, so I will be back in touch in early July with the official parking and lunch applications.  Setting up your account, however, is a great first step in making sure you are ready to go. The form and process to complete the account registration is linked on the MCHS website and directly here.
