Principal's Weekly Message

Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,

We are quickly closing in on the finish of the 2024 school year! Next week we will wrap up our final instructional days, celebrate our seniors at the Senior Picnic and start our second semester exams on Thursday.  It has been a wonderful “wind down” thus far and I hope that all our students continue to finish strong.

Below is some important information for Final Exams and the remainder of the year. Thank you for your attention to these details.

Information & Reminders:

Yearbooks are here!

This week, we have distributed yearbooks to students who pre-ordered them online. Students who purchased a yearbook but have not picked it up will be able to do so before school in the commons on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (June 10-12). At that time, students will also be able to purchase a yearbook from our limited supply of extras. Yearbooks are $85 and can be purchased with cash, check (made payable to Herff Jones), or online. For online purchases, go to and enter the code 10474. Please have your confirmation email ready to show Mr. Williams when picking up your yearbook. Please email Mr. Williams with any questions at

Final Exam Information:

Final exams for second semester classes will be held on-campus the week of June 6th-12th. Students will be taking either teacher-made exams or a state-mandated exam (CTE or EOC courses).  Reminder, that final exam participation is required unless you have a 12th grader that has earned exemption status for a particular course.  Final exams will count for 20% of the final course grade.

The schedule for final exams is provided below and will be reviewed with students in their homeroom in the coming weeks. Each day students will have one exam, time for lunch, and then have scheduled time to review for an upcoming exam or complete other work. Buses will run at 12:15 on these dates.

Most students will not report to campus on Friday, unless they have to make-up an exam missed earlier in the week.

Schedule- Spring 2024 Exam Schedule

If a student would like to be dismissed and picked up prior to the study hall, parents may approve that option.  Below is the permission form that must be completed and signed in order for a student to be dismissed after their exam period (12:00ish).  Students will need to turn this permission form in to their teacher on the day of each exam. Students who are planning to take advantage of early dismissal must leave campus at the end of the exam period and may not come back to campus unless they have an athletic practice or extracurricular activity.
