Principal's Weekly Message

Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,

It was another great week here at The Creek! Thank you so much to our PTSA, and all the parents who contributed, for really making our teachers feel loved and appreciated during Teacher Appreciation this week.  Believe it or not, next week marks the half-way point of 4th quarter, and interim reports will be coming home. Please take some time to review your student’s progress and to encourage a strong finish to this school year!

Below is additional information for your review. Thank you for your attention to these details.

Information & Reminders:

WCPSS Parent Survey!

The yearly Panorama Parent survey is now open! Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey, from now until May 17.

To further incentivize a high rate of participation, we are raffling off a number of prizes to several lucky families including: VIP seats for graduation, 1st pick of your students parking spot,  a free MCHS yard sign for 24-25, tickets to a Fall 2024 athletic or Arts event, and more!

To enter into the drawing, just complete the survey (once per family) and then take a photo of the completion screen and submit it to our Family Survey Raffle Form

We appreciate your time and feedback as a part of our continuous improvement process.

Scholarship Information for Seniors

Seniors, please report scholarship information to Student Services as you receive scholarship offers from colleges.  Any academic, arts, athletic, etc. scholarship offers can be reported, even if you aren’t going to attend the school.  Please email scholarship information to Ms. Morris in Student Services at jmorris@wcpss.net or stop by Student Services and we will make a copy of your offer letter.  Last year’s senior class earned over $8 million dollars and we want to see if this year’s class can top that number!  More information about searching for scholarships can be found at this link: Scholarship Searching - Where to Start

AP Testing Information

AP Testing has begun! Please see this link for important reminders and information for all AP test-takers.  Students are encouraged to attend their classes before and/or after their assigned AP test. However, if a student needs to be checked out afterwards for an appointment or other reason, please provide a note or email to the attendance office at the start of the school day.  During the day phone calls are not an efficient way to check students out, as the daytime hours are very hectic.  Please have your student drop by the attendance office to take care of that prior to the start of their test. Thank you!
