Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,

            I hope all of our families have enjoyed this beautiful weekend.  Fourth Quarter is officially here and Prom is just a few weeks away.  Teachers are putting finishing touches on 3rd Quarter Grades and we will be sending report cards home on Friday with all students.

We are thrilled to showcase our Spring Musical THIS WEEK. 

With over 75 students involved in this production, I am sure you will recognize many  faces and that the cast, crew, and pit would be thrilled to see you there!

Yearbooks- Last Call!

Time is running out to order your Middle Creek yearbook! The book is nearly ready to be sent to the printer, so order yours while there are copies available. Go to yearbookordercenter.com and use code 10474. Email Mr. Williams at pwilliams3@wcpss.net with any questions. Orders will only be accepted until the end of April. Books will be distributed towards the end of May.

 

Seniors- Class of 2024:

Spring Senior Meeting -  We will be having a spring senior meeting for parents and students to give updated information about Senior Celebrations and Events coming up.  This meeting is TUESDAY April 16th at 6pm - Virtually.  A link will be posted on the MCHS site that afternoon for families to access.

 

Baccalaureate - 

All seniors and their families are invited to join Baccalaureate 2024!

When: Saturday, June 8 at 1:00 P.M.

Where: Hope Community Church, 2080 Williams Street, Apex, NC 27539

*Seniors will wear their cap and gowns

Graduation Tickets - 

The next few months are going to fly by and we know this information is important for your planning purposes.  We are so excited about the venue for graduation this year and are pleased to announce we will be awarding 5 tickets per graduate (flier here).  All questions about graduation and senior events/celebrations will be answered and discussed at the Senior Meeting on April 16th at 6pm (Virtual).

 

Scholarship Information for Seniors

Seniors, please report scholarship information to Student Services as you receive scholarship offers from colleges.  Any academic, arts, athletic, etc. scholarship offers can be reported, even if you aren’t going to attend the school.  Please email scholarship information to Ms. Morris in Student Services at jmorris@wcpss.net or stop by Student Services and we will make a copy of your offer letter.  Last year’s senior class earned over $8 million dollars and we want to see if this year’s class can top that number!  More information about searching for scholarships can be found at this link: Scholarship Searching - Where to Start

Three Year Graduation Interest Meeting for Parents of Current 9th and 10th Grade Students

Parents who are interested in learning more about this option have two opportunities to learn more information.  Sophomore parents are welcome to stay at the end of our Sophomore Parent Meeting on April 22.  There is also a virtual option on April 25 from 12:00-1:00 pm.  The link will be provided via the MCHS website on the morning of April 25.  Parents are invited to learn about the option for students to complete graduation requirements in three years.

 

Sophomore Family Meeting on April 22, 2024

Student Services will hold our annual Sophomore Family Meeting on April 22, 2024 at 6:00 pm in person at MCHS.  We will discuss interpreting the PreACT scores that students received recently in their sophomore meetings with their counselors, preparing for junior year, and the new 22 credit-3 year graduation opportunity for the Class of 2026.  We hope to see all tenth grade families there!
