Information & Reminders:
Underclassmen Picture Day!
Our underclassmen (grades 9-11) will have their picture day next week on either Wednesday, Sept. 20th or Friday, Sept. 22nd during second block. Their assigned day will depend on their second block teacher’s name. Teacher’s with the last name A-L will be on Wednesday. Teachers with the last name M-Z will be on Friday. Picture ordering information should have come home with students last week. If you have questions, please email Mr. Williams (pwilliams3@wcpss.net).
Career Services Volunteer Information:
Are you a parent and/or member of our local business community who would like to get involved here at Middle Creek? If so, please consider joining us as a Career Services Volunteer. These volunteers help serve our students by participating in career services related events and activities such as job fairs, guest speakers, senior adulting days, mock interviews etc. You can sign up to join our team using the form below. If you would like more information, please email our Career Development Coordinator, Wendy House, at whouse@wcpss.net. We can't wait to partner with you this year!

Join the PTSA!
September is membership month for you Middle Creek High School PTSA. We are on a mission to increase connections between families, teachers and students and need your help to make this happen. Please consider joining your MCHS PTSA. Your membership grows our voice as a whole and we need your unique perspective in all that we do. We will have drawings for fun PTSA goodie bags for all members who join by the end of September. When you join, please remember to indicate your child's second block teacher because we have awesome prizes for teachers who have the greatest PTSA participation. You can also cover the cost of your child's (or your) favorite teacher by selecting the sponsor a teacher membership. This is a great way to show how much you value and support your PTSA and the work we do that impacts all students and staff. Join us!

Senior Parent Meeting
A Senior parent meeting will be held on 9/20 at 6pm in the MCHS Auditorium. Information regarding important dates for senior year (including graduation), senior pictures, transcripts, financial aid, applying to college and much more will be reviewed. Please be sure to attend and get all the information needed for a successful senior year!
Cap & Gown Information:
Students can order their cap and gown and other memorabilia online this year. Here is the flier with all of the information. Jostens will be at MCHS in October to support ordering as well.
Athletics:
Interested in ordering more MCHS apparel or a Letterman’s Jacket?

Most of these items will also be sold at our home football games, but there are a few things (such as letterman's jackets) need to be ordered online. Once the Letterman’s jacket is ordered, you will take your varsity letter to the contact:

Information from Student Services:
Junior College Night Panel
On October 25 at 6:00 pm in the MCHS Auditorium we will host our Junior College Night (any grade level student is welcome to attend). The counselors will share information about how juniors should be preparing for the college admissions process and we will host a panel of college admissions representatives to answer your questions. Reps from NC State, UNC Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, and Wake Tech will be present. We hope to see all of our juniors and their families that evening!
