There is No School on Wednesday, April 10 due to the Teacher Workday. The 3rd quarter ends on Tuesday and students will receive report cards on Friday, April 19.
Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) Information
SSA Test Request Deadline at Friday at 5pm
Test Requests for the 2023-24 school year must be submitted during your school’s calendar request window.
Your request for testing must be documented and provided to the SSA Coordinator at your school. The request is made via the Google Form and must clearly indicate which subject you wish for your student to test.
Test Request Window:
- Traditional Calendar: Monday, April 1 8:00 am - Friday, April 12, 2024 5:00 pm

Students may test in ONE subject, either ELA or math. Test requests are submitted through this Google Form to ensure receipt of the request during the above dates and times. We experience a large volume of test requests, and the Google Form is the most reliable way to collect information. Please do not send any paper forms or emails to staff members, as these forms may not be processed within the test request window. We cannot accept any test requests outside the above test request window.
SSA Testing Windows
- Traditional Calendar: April 22 - May 6, 2024
Students will test for SSA placement for the 2024-25 school year during the testing window indicated above. Requests for testing outside these windows will not be accepted. If your child is not in attendance during the 2024 testing window, they may test in the Spring of 2025.

SPRING CARNIVAL Pre-Sale is Happening Now!
We are so excited for the annual Spring Carnival on Friday, April 19th! Come and experience inflatables, games, face painting, fairy hair, food trucks, concessions, amazing raffles/auctions, and more! It's the biggest and best event of the school year!

Tickets purchased by Friday, April 12th will be sent home with students before the carnival. Any orders received between April 13-18th will have to be picked up at will-call at the carnival.
Pre-Sale Ticket Raffle
Interested in entering to win 50 free carnival tickets? Each week, all pre-sale tickets purchased during that past week through Thursday will be entered for a chance to win! The lucky winner will be drawn each Friday, with their name read over the weekly announcements.

Spring Carnival Auction/Raffle Preview
The PTA has received donations for our raffle and auction from over 80 businesses, meaning there is something for everyone!

Kindergarten Orientation
Thursday, May 16 - 5:30-6:30pm
We will host an information session for rising Kindergarten families. The topics will include daily instruction, specials, transportation, and lunch. You will also hear from Mrs. Swaim, Mr. Boynton, and our PTA regarding how to be involved in your child's education. There will be an opportunity to see classrooms in person, as well as the specials classrooms, cafeteria and a school bus. Parents are encouraged to bring their rising Kindergarten students!
