Dear White Oak Families,
Thank you to all that came out for our Science Fair & 5th Grade Performance on Thursday. The variety of student inquiry, ownership and creativity was memorable and we appreciate all the support from families to help make these projects possible. A special acknowledgement to Mrs. Overton for helping to organize the event and communicate with all of you throughout the process.
Moving forward, tt's hard to believe that it is nearly April! This week is the end of the third quarter and our last days before Spring Break. There is No School on Friday due to the Teacher Workday. Students return to school on Monday, April 10, after Spring Break.

- The lunch menu on Thursday, 3/30 is Manager's Choice: Chicken Sandwich or Veggie Burger, Baby Carrots, Roasted potatoes with herbs and fresh apple slices.

WOES SPRING CARNIVAL - Thursday, April 20 - 5-8pm
ADMISSION BANDS AND TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW!
Join us for The WOES Spring Carnival! Come and enjoy carnival games, inflatables, music, face painting, raffles and a WOES staff dunk tank! The in-person silent auction will be extra special this year with one-of-a-kind teacher experiences!
Admission bands are $10 per person (ages 3 and older) or $30 per family (up to six family members).
Purchase tickets to pay for activities, snacks, beverages, and raffle entries.
* $20 - Pack of 15 tickets
* $40 - Pack of 30 tickets
* $60 - Pack of 50 tickets
* $75 - Pack of 100 tickets
Tickets values:
Raffle: 1 ticket per entry
Carnival Games: 1 ticket
Concessions: 1-2 tickets
Face Paint: 5 tickets
Fairy Hair: 5 tickets
Dunk Booth: 10 tickets
- Use the PTA website to purchase Admission Bands & Tickets. (Users must login or create an account to access the website.)
Please Note: Pre-sale pricing ends on Wednesday, April 12, so that online purchases can be sent home to students on April 17th! (Admission and tickets will be available at the event gate at an increased amount).
FOOD TRUCKS
At this year's Spring Carnival, food trucks will be available! They will accept cash, credit or debit (please note: Food trucks will NOT be able to accept carnival tickets as payment).

PARKING
Parking for the carnival is limited! In addition to the White Oak parking lot, parking is also available at the church across the street and elsewhere. See this helpful map for more details!
RAIN OR SHINE
The Spring Carnival will be held rain or shine! (no refunds available)

Positivity Project - Character Strength of the Week
The Positivity Project (P2) is a character education program (funded by our PTA) and dedicated to empowering America's youth to build positive relationships by seeing the good in themselves and others.
