Happy Spring Forward!
We are excited about our Canned Food Drive this week. Ranger Danger & Ms. Swaim included this announcement for students in their video last week. Read below for more details.
Quick Notes/Reminders:
- Tuesday, March 14 is Spring Picture Day. Class pictures will be taken. The Spring Individual program is a speculative program. Each student present will receive a package to view the image. Families will have the option to purchase the whole package, purchase sheet(s) and return the remaining sheets to the school or return the whole package.
Food Drive & School Spirit Days
Monday March 13th - Friday March 17th - Canned Food Drive 🥫
Let's ShamROCK our Canned Food Drive by filling up our pots of gold. During morning arrival, student leaders will be standing in the carpool hallway entrance collecting cans. When Explorers donate, they will write their name on a shamrock and tape it to the windows.
Thursday, March 16th - Find your Gold at the end of the RAINBOW DAY
(each grade level dresses in a different color)
- Pre-K/ECS: White
- Kindergarten: Red
- 1st: Orange
- 2nd: Yellow
- 3rd: Green
- 4th: Blue
- 5th: Purple
- Specialists/Admin/Front Office/Instructional Support: Pink
Friday, March 17th – Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day!
Make everyone green with envy of your best St. Patty’s Day gear! Wear green clothes, green shoes, green socks, shamrock headbands, anything you have to show your St. Patrick’s Day spirit!
Positivity Project - Character Strength of the Week
The Positivity Project (P2) is a character education program (funded by our PTA) and dedicated to empowering America's youth to build positive relationships by seeing the good in themselves and others. We hope you enjoy using the character strengths vocabulary and have meaningful conversations at home that support your child's learning here at school.
