I am the proud principal of Sycamore Creek Elementary School.  This is my 26th year in education, all of which have been at year round schools. I am a teacher at heart and have continued to teach through all of my positions including sixth grade teacher, fourth grade teacher, Instructional Resource Teacher, and Assistant Principal.  My personal mission at Sycamore Creek is to love, serve, challenge, and inspire all learners.  I am so impressed and excited about what I see when I go into the classrooms. The students and staff are so enthusiastic about creating a supportive learning environment. I am overwhelmed by the support of the PTA and Sycamore Creek families. I truly see a strong shared commitment from all stakeholders. I look forward to serving your children and family!

I have been one of the assistant principals of Sycamore Creek Elementary School for the past 8 years.  This is my 15th year in education, all of which has been in elementary school. I started my teaching career in Wake County at Underwood GT Magnet as a 5th grade teacher. I then taught 5th grade, and completed my administrative internship at Pleasant Union Year Round Elementary School. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and thrive in a school environment that is nurturing, student centered, and led by a teacher who holds high expectations for all of their students. I look forward to continuing to teach and learn with the greatest staff in WCPSS!

I am honored to be one of the Assistant Principals at Sycamore Creek Elementary.  This is my 10^th year in education where I have worked as an ABA therapist, Student Support Coordinator, Third Grade Teacher, Fourth Grade Teacher, Instructional Resource Teacher and Testing Coordinator. I have been able to see the school environment through multiple lens which continues to match my belief of "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" (Nelson Mandela). Education is my passion and I believe all students can learn! Here, at Sycamore Creek Elementary, teachers; staff; and administrators truly do love all, serve all, challenge all. I look forward to collaborating with families and the community to strengthen our shared commitment of student success in and out of the classroom. I am proud to be at SCES where Our Crocs Rock!
