Ms. Fateya Black, AP Intern
I am so excited to join Oakview this year as the Assistant Principal intern!
North Carolina raised! I most recently taught Food and Nutrition at Enloe High School. Teaching has always been a joy for me because it gave me the chance to help students gain practical life skills, discover their strengths, and build confidence in themselves. I am currently working toward my MSA at North Carolina Central University, and I feel incredibly grateful that my internship has brought me to Oakview. My hope is to contribute to the great work already happening here while continuing to grow as a leader who supports both students and teachers.
My hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
I am truly excited to be an Owl this year and look forward to getting to know our students and families. Building strong, positive relationships is very important to me, and I can’t wait to work together to make this a wonderful year at Oakview!
