Ms. Mary Grace "Mace", Farr
My name is Mary Grace “Mace” Farr, and I’m originally from Manila, Philippines. Tagalog is my home language, and I moved to the U.S. five years ago. This is my seventh year of teaching! I began my career in special education and earned degrees in Special Education and Developmental Psychology in the Philippines. I recently completed my master’s degree in English Language Learning. I live with my husband, daughter, and our two cats. Outside of school, I love photography, watching films, live theater, trying local food and coffees in different states, and watching concerts.
As an English language learner myself, I’m passionate about supporting multilingual learners who are on a similar journey. My teaching style is flexible, creative, and fun, I enjoy making learning meaningful, hands-on, and engaging for all students.
