I graduated recently from East Carolina University and lived in Greenville during my first year of teaching in first grade! This year will be my first year teaching kindergarten as well as my first year teaching at Yates Mill Elementary!  I am beyond excited . Kindergarten was actually a year at school I remember clearly because of all the fun memories, friends and things I learned !! I moved back to Raleigh to be by my family this year and have been spending the summer exploring , relaxing and preparing for the school year. My reason for becoming a teacher is actually one of my elementary school teachers, I remember her helping me through a tough time at school and believing in me no matter what! I really want to be that teacher for every group of kids I get to teach. I’m so excited to join the team and this amazing school this year!
