Hi!  My name is Heather Sutton and I am so excited to begin my second year at NFP!  I grew up in Columbia, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park - Go Terps!  I have taught kindergarten, first grade, intervention, and currently ESL.  I enjoy working with students from all over the world and learning about their cultures.  It is a privilege to work with these students and support their language growth.  My husband and I live in Wake Forest and we have two adult children.  Our daughter is a middle school math teacher for WCPSS and our son will be a senior at UNC Charlotte this fall majoring in finance.  When I am not at school, I love to workout, read, volunteer at the USO, spend time with my family travelling or just being together.  

I'm looking forward to a year full of learning and fun!
