I am originally from New York. I attended SUNY Fredonia and moved to North Carolina 20 years ago to begin teaching for WCPSS. I have a range of teaching experiences. I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade & Intervention for K-5 students focused on Math & Literacy. I graduated from NC State with a Masters of Education and I also have my National Boards. My husband Adam and I are proud parents to Ava (11) & Alexa Bea (8). Alexa will be at NFP in fourth grade while Ava continues at Heritage Middle School.  We also have a Great Dane named Olive, and rescued a dog last year who is deaf, named George. I enjoy reading, working out, and love to vacation at Sunset Beach.  I absolutely love my job & instilling the power of "yet" into the young minds that I am lucky enough to work with!
