Mrs. Stewart
My name is Pamela Stewart, and I'm excited to be going into my 12th year of education. I was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to Raleigh, NC, at the age of 5. I'm a product of Wake County Schools, attending Underwood Elementary, Ligon GT Magnet Middle School, and William G. Enloe High School. I started college at UNC Greensboro; however, I graduated from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in English. I worked as an Instructional Assistant from 2014-2017 in various grade levels before transitioning into full-time teaching in 2017. I took a one-year break in 2023 to pursue another facet of Wake County Schools, but found out instantly that my love and passion have always lain in the classroom; therefore, I returned in 2024.
I am happily married to my sweetheart Charles, and we have a 15-year-old daughter named Serenity, whom I love dearly. I enjoy writing and listening to poetry, watching sports (basketball preferably), singing, and dancing. I'm very family-oriented and enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, and sorority sisters. I'm a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. I’m happy to be continuing my educational journey as a Yates Mill FROG and will continue to flourish and learn to be the best educator I can be.
