Hello Yates Mill families! My name is Samantha Neill and I have the pleasure of being a part of the 3rd grade team! This is my third year teaching and second year at Yates Mill! 

My goal as an educator, is to foster an inviting an inclusive learning environment, that encourages curiosity, respect, and growth for all students I believe that when students feel welcomed and supported their empowered to reach their goals.

I am from Rochester, NY and received my undergraduate degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Brockport. I moved to Raleigh shortly after graduating in 2023. I am currently in the process of receiving my master's degree in education from NC State! In my free time, I love going to the beach and playing with my dog!
