Ms. Yourkavitch: Hi everyone! My name is Megan Yourkavitch and I am excited to be returning for my third year at White Oak. I am originally from Charlottesville, VA and attended school at James Madison University. Although I'm not an ECU alum, I still represent purple and gold!! I enjoy seeing live music, spending time with friends, and exercising in my free time. I'm looking forward to another great year with the amazing staff and students!

Ms. Foster: I am entering my 11th year of teaching. I was a first grade teacher for three years, special education teacher for one year in Virginia, and, most recently, was an interventionist in Chapel Hill. I have two golden retrievers and spend a lot of my time walking them.

Ms. Bee: Hi WOE Families, my name is Bhavana Patil, I go by the name Ms.Bee. This is my third year with WOE. I love working with kids and WOE is a wonderful place to work. I am an Instructional Assistant for CCR. I live in Apex with my husband and two loving boys. This year my elder son is a senior in high school and my younger one is a 7th grader at Mills Park Middle School. I love to cook and spend time with my family. Ms. Kristy: My name is Kristy Seaboch and I was born and raised in Wake County. I have been at White Oak for 6 years(although not consecutively); one as a parent and five as an employee. I currently live in Siler City with my husband and our four children (ages 25, 22, 20 and 16). I love the beach, gardening and spending time with family, as well as knitting, sewing and crocheting. I am very excited to be working with your children here at White Oak and am positive that it will be a great year!

Ms. J: Hi, My name is Padmaja Jonnalagadda and I go by the name Ms. J. I was born and raised in India. My husband works for SAS Institute and I have two awesome sons, both Seniors, at Appalachian State University and Green Level High school. I worked as a Substitute Teacher at White Oak Elementary and various other schools in and around Wake County in the year 2018 and started as a full-time IA since 2019 at WOE and it's been wonderful working here ever since. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, shopping, hanging out with friends and family. I love our admin and the staff and I am looking forward to another great year at White Oak Elementary.

Mr. Karon: Hi everyone! This is my 2nd year at White Oak and I could not be happier being here. I graduated James Madison University in 2016 and just received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction of Special Education.
I live in the North Hills neighborhood of Raleigh with my fiancée. I am from Massachusetts. I enjoy being outside, preferably by a body of water and golfing, as well as watching my Boston sports teams.Degrees/Certifications: Bachelors of Science in Sports and Recreation Management. Masters of Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Kandy: My name is Kandy Edwards, the kids know me as Mrs. Kandy. I was born and raised in Apex, North Carolina. My husband and I have four kids, two boys and two girls, who we live for! I graduated in 2020 with my Associates in Arts degree. I love traveling, catching a good movie, and most of all spending time with my family! I have been apart of the ECS team here at White oak for about 7 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I am so grateful to be a part of such a great team here at White Oak!

Mrs. Serrano: I am so glad to be a part of the White Oak Staff again this school year! I have been working in schools, private practice, and hospital settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2001. I look forward to working with White Oak students this year and helping them with their speech and language skills.

Ms. Preston: This will be my 4th year at White Oak Elementary. I have worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for many years with adults and children in medical facilities and within the public schools. The facilitation of functional speech and language to enable confident communication has been my passion throughout my professional career. I am the mother of 3, and grandmother to a beautiful boy named Henry. I'm excited to have the opportunity to return to work with the awesome community of White Oak ES!

Dr. Bevil -- This is my 4th year serving this region of Wake County and White Oak Elementary. I enjoy being part of a team and working together to ensure our students are successful in accessing the school environment. I'm a proud soccer mom and I enjoy spending time traveling, watching movies and playing sports with my husband, two kids and our Boston Terrier. Volleyball is my favorite sport to play!
