I’m excited to join the team as a 3rd grade teacher, where I love helping students grow as readers and develop their unique personalities. I moved to the Charlotte area from Colorado initially, but landed further east to be closer to my mom, after she moved out here as well. This will be my fifth year teaching, with experience in 2nd through 5th grade. In addition to my B.A. in Elementary Education, I hold a Master’s in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology from WGU. Outside of school, I enjoy crochet, playing video games with my husband, and exploring creative ways to bring technology into education.
